What can Ecological Land Management & Stewardship (abbreviated here to ELMS), do for you. ELMS can do a complete monitoring including:
Document review (easement deed or conservation restriction, previous reports & letters, baseline reports, images). ELMS can tailor its monitoring to address certain easement concerns.
On-Ground Monitoring (monitoring specific to each easement deed, landowner letters to notify of upcoming monitoring tours, observation of boundaries, access points, or points of concern, geo-referenced photographic documentation, written documentation, geo-referenced route). ELMS can utilize its own software or your organizations preferred software or forms to complete monitoring.
Reporting (reporting information on any potential observed concerns or violations, geo-referenced route, and referenced images). Report and monitoring form format can be customized to the needs of the organization responsible for monitoring.
ELMS cannot do follow up work with Grantors or easement enforcement work as this is the responsibility of the Grantee. ELMS offers review, monitoring, and reporting support.
ELMS staff have rebuilt monitoring systems for organizations from the ground up. ELMS staff have rebuilt monitoring storage systems, monitoring mapping systems, researched landowner contact information, completed grantor monitoring reach out letters, and completed review, monitoring, and reporting for full easement holdings.
