Field Management

Do you want to maintain fields or early successional habitats for wildlife? Do you want to reclaim fields that are starting to grow in? Do you need help planning a rotational mowing cycle for birds or pollinators?

Ecological Land Management & Stewardship (abbreviated here to ELMS), can help.

ELMS has the equipment to reclaim and maintain fields including: brush hogs, brush saws, brush grubbers, and mowers.

ELMS provides field management plans that help conservation minded land owners meet their goals to protect grassland birds and support pollinators, while being conscious of invasive species concerns. ELMS provides the tools to follow through on these plans in a timely manner.

ELMS is a USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Technical Service Provider (TSP) for conservation practices: “314 Brush Management” and “647 Early Successional Habitat Management”.
